Since CORONA has not been a nice place anymore it is just way too crowded. Last year (2019) you could still enjoy nature on beautiful days. Where do all the people come from who can't go for a walk somewhere?

It's very relaxing to walk through the forest or the heather here. A peaceful place.

Today we went for a walk with our dog in the Fischbeker Heide again. It is currently blooming beautifully and is ideal for long walks and beautiful photos. It should be noted, however, that this is a nature reserve, in which you have to observe some rules, so that this unique nature is preserved. You can park directly at the glider club.

Very beautiful heather, especially of course in August when it blooms. You can easily spend the whole day here. Believe it or not, you are still in Hamburg and sometimes you can even see the city from a hill in the distance! From Fischbeck or Hamburg-Neugraben you can quickly get out into nature. I can only recommend it!

The Fischbeker Heide is beautiful. It's a longer journey from Hamburg city center, but it's definitely worth it. Here you can go for a wonderful walk - and you are relatively alone. If you are lucky you can watch gliders!

I was there for a short time, but I'll go again with more time, I think it's a great natural park with a lot of peace and quiet.

A wonderful recreational area. Easily accessible from Hamburg, provided you don't drive during rush hour. You can also do nice laps here on a mountain bike.

Very nice nature reserve. Unfortunately also a popular meeting place for drug addicts. It is essential to stay on the paths, do not leave any rubbish and do not smoke

A real gem right on the edge of Neugraben, especially in summer and in August when the heather is in bloom. Barely 300 meters from the B73, we find peace and relaxation while hiking or cycling on sandy paths. Most of the time there is still a free space in the parking lot and the adventure begins with an unexpected increase in altitude less than 10 steps. There are already a few crunchy climbs to the glider airfield. We would love to come back.
